The Angelina Tearoom on Rivoli is so popular that you should expect a line no matter what time of day you visit. Don’t fret, though, because the lines move quickly and the dining experience is definitely worth the wait. However, if you really don’t have the patience and don’t mind missing out on the magnificent ambiance, head to the delicatessen for classics you can purchase for takeaway.

At the Angelina Tearoom, one of the most important menu items for you to order is the legendary Angelina Hot Chocolate. While it’s best enjoyed inside the salon, it’s equally delicious when enjoyed in any of Paris’ popular spots including the Jardin des Tuileries which is just across the street.

When inside the delicatessen, it’s hard not to be enamored by the rows of beautiful pastries enclosed in glass as if they were jewels. Each one is definitely a masterpiece but make sure you try their signature Mont-Blanc. Choose the classic version with chestnut cream vermicelli or opt for the Coffret Mont-Blanc, a box of 4 medium-sized Mont-Blancs in different flavors. Flavors include the classic, blackcurrant, chocolate, and coco-passion.

Other excellent Angelina Tea House pastry classics include the Choc Africain, the Paris-New York, the Succès noisette, the Millefeuille, the Tarte Citron, and the Éclair Chocolat. However, if you’d really like to enjoy something quintessentially French, try a box of their mini macarons. These delicate almond meringue cookies come in chestnut, dark chocolate, vanilla, coffee, pistachio, caramel, blackcurrant, raspberry, lemon, and rose. With all these Angelina Tearoom delights in hand, your Paris experience will definitely be one for the books.
